The complimentary application designed for gathering feedback on the Sunrise mobile network serves as a useful tool for users to assess network quality and speed at their specific locations or homes. Through this platform, user experiences contribute significantly to the ongoing enhancement of Sunrise's network capabilities. Additionally, the app provides customized solutions for addressing reception issues.

Functionality Overview:

This application monitors various key quality indicators associated with mobile networks, delivering real-time information regarding Sunrise's provisions in Switzerland. User inputs, along with measurement data from speed and connection tests, are collected in an anonymized format and transmitted to Sunrise's measurement systems. The aggregated information is stored in a database, facilitating the generation of anonymous statistics that reflect the performance of the Sunrise mobile network. Engaging with this app aids Sunrise in refining its offerings, prioritizing customer satisfaction.

Feature Set: Manual or Automatic Feedback

Users have the option to manually initiate a connection or speed test for mobile data transmission. Should your mobile network experience fall short of expectations, you can provide specific feedback to Sunrise. Alternatively, the app can be configured to regularly and automatically collect technical parameters, such as wireless network information, which are then sent to Sunrise with minimal data consumption (under 2 MB/month).

Data Protection: Ensured 24/7

Regardless of whether feedback is submitted manually or automatically, all collected data is managed solely by Sunrise for the specified purposes in compliance with Swiss data protection laws and the relevant provisions within the Sunrise general terms and conditions (www.sunrise.ch/gtc). Additional data, inclusive of localization details and technical system parameters, is also collected alongside measurements acquired from active tests.

The following anonymized data is transmitted to Sunrise for processing and analysis:

<li>MSISDN, IMSI number, hardware model</li>
<li>User entries from the "Network feedback" module</li>
<li>Measurement data from user-initiated tests ("Speed test" module) including:</li>
<ul>
<li>Download speed</li>
<li>Upload speed</li>
<li>Round-trip time (ping)</li>
<li>Internet uptime/success rate</li>
<li>Download duration</li>
<li>System and usage parameters</li>
<li>Mobile network details (cell ID, signal strength)</li>
<li>User hardware information (such as model or operating system)</li>
<li>Localization metrics (latitude and longitude)</li>
<li>Time metrics (measurement timestamps)</li>
</ul>
</ul>
Please note that some transmitted data may be personal and could potentially identify users.

No Connection Costs for Sunrise Customers

For both postpaid and prepaid Sunrise customers, there are no connection costs associated with the app's data traffic. For mobile subscriptions that include data volumes, the app does not deduct from users' available data allowances.
